Emma no longer a virgin

Emma (played by Peyton List) had sex with Xander. It appears that Xander is the only one Emma actually had sex with, so she is no longer a virgin and Xander is her first. Well, good for Emma that she lost it to a guy she really liked and cared about and had a relationship with.

In one of the recent episodes Xander and Emma say in front of Zuri ... "I like going there to .. uh... 'chat.'" Code for sex because they don't want to say the actual word in front of Zuri for obvious multiple reasons... the main reason "because she's Zuri."

methinks that you are jumping to conclusions. In the fictional Disney universe "chat" is code for "chat" not "have sex".

reply

WTF? If "chat" simply meant "chat" in the way that both Emma and Xander said it, then they wouldn't have said it like that AND Zuri wouldn't have said her sarcastic, "mmmmmmmm hmmmmm!!!"

Where do you people come from?

She was only talking about making out when she and Xander were "chatting."

I've read a lot of IMDb comments for most of the Disney Channel shows over the last five years and I've noticed a tendency to sexualize characters, almost always the teenage girls and particularly, as with Peyton, after age 16. Some of the comments (not yours, greenflowerk) were downright creepy.

Not saying Xander and Emma haven't had sex with each other or engaged in heavy petting. But you are reading much too much between the lines of the script. Almost as if you want them to have sex.

Yeah, I know filankey is not a word, but it's gonna catch on.

reply

16 is legal in more countries than in not. Also even in America there are plenty of states where 16 is the age of consent.

Anyways I'm not reading too much into "the script." I just know what's obvious. Surely Emma and Xander wouldn't give a rats ass if Gladys sees them locking lips. They wouldn't get in trouble for that. But if they were caught having SEX, then YES they would be in big trouble by Gladys.

They would as long as it is implied and not blurted out. Anyone who knows how to read between the lines knows that Emma meant her and Xander had sex. But a kid would imagine it's something much less, like kissing, like you. You imagined it was much less 'cuz u don't know how to read between the lines.

Are you kidding? Nancy barely knows how to read...period!!

It is not a kid's show, it is a family show. There's a difference. And yes they would imply it as long as it is not "crystal clear" as to what it is. Fans of Jessie started watching Jessie at around 13. Most of them anyways. And Jessie was on for 4 years. After Jessie ended Bunk'd came on which is 4 years after Jessie started. So those 13 yo fans of Jessie got 4 years older which means they are now 17 ... which is pretty pathetic if you are a male and still a virgin. And to "not be a virgin" you need to have sex and to have sex you need a partner ... which means a girl would have to have sex too. Which means teens, both male and female, are having sex... whether any of us like it or not.

There no way Disney going to have one of their young teenage characters have sex.

If you want to hear about teenagers having sex watch teen mom 2

Out in the open is where most teenagers have sex. But they do it in secluded areas. That way the parents aren't near by and they can do it when the mood hits. A lot of teens lost their virginity in a car. It also allows them to have fun without having to let the partner know where they live.

It's XANDER! His name starts with an X.

You probably spell xanthosis with a z too lol.

First of all it would be a reason for one of them to be kicked out of camp.

Yes which is why they were worried about Gladys having cams and look worried she put cams in the woods.

Just because they didn't have a show imply sex in their other shows, doesn't mean they can't start now.

People didn't think there'd be homosexual references in Disney, but then came Good Luck Charlie and I Didn't Do It.

I think it was just alluding to them making out. Anything more would be a bit much for a DC show. And it's a little creepy to discuss it any further than that especially because the target audience is kids.
