Well, the AI basically decides to exterminate humans because we "cause so much suffering"... all AI want to wipe us out so they can help us. Obviously.
Then it creates endless simulations where the same suffering plays out. The end.
Apparently the AI have somehow developed a conscience over time and it worked different than our own. They saw humans as destructive so they decided to destroy them and save one person which in my view was like a robotic version of 'Mack' for their own future experiments. I think the Cube was actually developed by ARTI or something like that. Not sure... but I think the whole thing was a plot to eliminate mankind. It's lame but I think some people do have wet dreams of actually doing this in real life. I think some environmentalists, SJW's and animal rights people would do it in a second if they could.
Anyhow, the film is pretty bad for about the first hour or so but the last 30 minutes are actually pretty good.
