How does this already have a 3.9?

shareThe premieres were in March so there were fake reviews and ratings on IMDb. The Mouse beat up Bezos so they got deleted. Mouse can't find Jim!
shareVoting reopened and fake reviews purged! 4.7 and rising steadily. Metascore 68.
shareDon't forget to shell out the cash for Pro-China actors so we can make China stronger.
shareStar Liu Yifei made statements in support of the Hong Kong police (not China) last year. That's because she saw violent protesters shutting down Hong Kong, which would force a response from China. She was right.
Most western media did not report on the violence. Same with US Fake News calling the Portland (and other) riots "mostly peaceful".
God damn, it's like... Yeah I guess you have a point there but key differences with the protests is that one is fighting for the very definition of democracy itself and the other is about police brutality. The protests were peaceful at the start until you realize it does nothing then it got violent later on. Fiery but peaceful I guess as CNN classifies it. I don't know if you're actually supporting this type of stuff now... Maybe the Trumpism thing has gotten to the point where it's acceptable everywhere else.
I'm just thinking, what's the point of peaceful protesting if there is no change? It's like someone rigs an election in Belarus and they just peaceful protest. Then what? Nothing changes. They suppose to just stay peaceful and magically the dictator will realize his mistake? I'm starting to see similar contrasts here in the US and elsewhere. The only reason I defend the US is because there are actual reforms in place in congress with bills signing to change things for the better. Meanwhile in China there is none of that crap. Some people are just comparing oh look you criticize us about how we handle protest but look, you're having the same issue crap without looking at deep root of the issues at hand.

Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.

none of it is about human rights - people must be joking to say America cares about anyone anywhere else - America is using the democracy in Hong Kong as a way to stop China because China is starting to become economically a stronger country and challenging America in its back yard and around the world - where was the democracy call when UK was electing officials direct from London and anyone who disagreed was beaten up by the police then.
Its all about money - America couldn't give a crap about these CIA sponsored hooligans in Hong Kong - does America care about Saudi's, Kuwaiti or Yemeni murdering its citizens, the uzbekis with the worst human rights records, the brazilian murderer or the east European squatting in Palestine.
Osama Bin Laden and Saddam Hussain where America's best friends and they literally got away with murder until they decided to go against it then they became enemy number one but they were still the same people when american were calling them there friends.
If you obey america you can kills as many citizens as you want and do whatever you want but you always be the good guy, but soon as you become a threat to america everything you do is made into a propaganda.
China has beaten america by becoming richer and powerful even with the odds favoured towards the west - so America couldn't beat it even with the deck stacked favoured on its side, so now it will use any means necessary to turn the tide.
Yes, power and money as well in the mix. In the end it's about ideologies and you'll have to choose to either support a despotic regime or a flawed regime that still stands for most (not all) democratic values. Would you rather have China running things with it's self-censorship, blackmailing, skewing, etc.?
Osama was trained by CIA to go against Russian invasion, I wouldn't really call them friends. It's called proxy wars, all nations do it and still do it just like in Syria, Lybia, etc. etc. Saddam was a crutch against Iran. US makes unlikely allies towards those that go against an ideology or partner in profit trade or whatever hurts the hegemony. There are numerous articles out there with intellectual folks that will explain this better as it's a power game with the elites.
No argument there but I wouldn't say they just kill indiscriminately on purpose for the majority of what they do else it'll be like Russia with their dumb bombs vs the smart bombs we use to mitigate as much as possible the collateral damage.
Yep, the west became complacent and docile to what China's real goals were. The west thinking it could turn China democratic was the worst mistake they've made since the Vietnam War. Reformation of South Korea and Japan were a success though. Actually I think Vietnam became much better after its war, even the American relations have vastly improved since then.
Not really, as i said either you choose to live the way the west wants you to live or you face sanctions, blackmail, if that don't work then overthrown via bombing
Its the west & USA that does proxy wars now regularly - China & Russia do it but usually in there own back yard to keep themselves secure, whereas America does it around the world & to topple anyone it doesn't like or is a threat to its money & power.
Egypt overthrew a despot & elected a government which was anti west but that didn't sit right so soon as the opportunity came they got overthrown with another despotic regime - where was USA then with its democratic values?
Libya was pretty much a first world country under Gaddafi & wanted to move away from paying dollars for oil, soon as that happened his days were numbered & look at how happy the people are now with democracy that they are living in years of constant war, hunger & fighting for scraps rather then the first world luxuries they had before but they have democracy now.
in terms of smart bombs and dumb bombs - the only reason why russia uses them because they are poorer country & american has he luxury of using smart bombs (napalm in vietnam) to kill more efficiently not to stop civilians dying - if you read thoroughly the non western propganda media - america has murdered more civilians in its proxy wars then anyone else but you won't hear that in a biased media.
White men only bring democracy to a white men to make sure they stay safe that means they keep the middle east full of despotic regimes to make sure the money flows one way - if the saudi, kuwaitis, yemen actually got democratic leaders the western military & politics influencers would be thrown out but they have to keep these regimes either keep them under there thumb or constant war.
the west don't give a damn about HK or democracy, they loved china as it was a a cheap place to make money now its a threat, we talk abt democracy, there hypocrits.
24 hours after release Imdb is 5.4 with US 5.8. Audience will probably rate higher than critics, as usual for Disney.

This movie is being review bombed, because:
1) Disney is charging for this movie instead of providing it for free in its streaming service
2) The actress that plays Mulan has made comments pro-police in the past
This boycott movement is a bit weird.
Regarding the first point, if you don't like that they are charging, then yes, don't watch it. You don't need to start a campaign to boycott it, just don't watch it.
Regarding the second point, it's a fair view. She made some comments that people felt were against the very basic human rights. However, making an entire movie pay for it, seems also a bit unfair. In addition, we are evaluating her work here, not her political views. But if you can't connect with the actress, it's understandable you don't feel like watching the movie.
I fail to see, however, what's the point in review bombing this movie in the website.
