It looks like makeup did a good job, it doesn't seem fake at all.

I saw a recent picture of him in London, he doesn't seem fat. :)

Gary Oldman is not the first actor I would think of to play Winston Churchill but the photo looks great.

This is what Oldman said about his role in a recent interview

Two and a half years ago when the role first came around, [I] laughed so loud," he explained, "I thought, 'Winston Churchill, are you kidding? Look at me!'... I thought no, I'll never go near it.

I'm curious why they gave him those two warts on his cheek. Don't recall Churchill having those. Odd little addition.
