Cliched Characters/Scenes
Disliked this movie.
Every character was a cliche seen in other movies - the cold, calculating superhero lobbyist who can get anything done, but is secretly insecure and on drugs,
the evil gun lobby, the heroic idealist working for a small, but spunky, underdog, anti-gun lobby group,
the head of the huge lobbying firm who pulls the strings of the corrupt politician,
the dedicated band of drones who follow Miss Sloane away from big bucks to "do the right thing" (but probaby ruin their careers, and are, for some mysterious reason loyal to a woman who double-crosses everyone she works with,)
the ridiculous add one/lose one count of politicians they apparently get to change their minds by simply asking them what their position on a bill is,
the certainty that Miss Sloane would ignore her counsel's advice to defend her character,
the little insect spy drone that can crawl up a car and inside to spy (in HD, no less) on two men conversing in the dark.
Then there was the big twist that was so impossibly-rendered, so ludicrously far-fetched, so convoluted and "James Bondish" it destroyed any credibility the movie may have had.
