Historic box office flop!

http://louderwithcrowder.com/bombs-away-anti-2a-miss-sloane-tanks-box-office/

HAHAHA I'll still watch it when it shows up on my Time Warner HBO Hillary channel, but I'm glad the message has been sent that liberal anti gun commies don't pay for things. People with money don't want to see this obviously... because we like guns... because we want to protect our money... from people who don't pay for movies HAHAHA

reply

Too bad for you the movie exists forever and can and will be seen by anyone who wants to see it at some point. And a movie that only cost $13 million make its money back over time because there are many revenue streams. It's box office is merely a reflection of people's desire to pay top dollar to go out of their homes and the movie theater has become more about spectacle in that regard. Miss Sloane is definitely more of the kind of movie that people watch on their TVs and that's totally fine with the filmmakers because it's only about sharing stories and not setting box office records. And tmrw - on the 4 year anniversary of Newtown - how about you brag about your interpretation of your 2nd Amendment rights all over the Internet. I'm sure the families of those victims will appreciate that. That's the message you send when you gloat about "winning" this fight.

Yup, these silly progs have failed once again, with their lame attempt at this anti 2nd propaganda garbage film. Too bad these SJW sh*t heads who promote this filth, don't ever put their money where their mouths are otherwise, they'd be box office hits! Guess they're not getting those Soros cheques anymore? lol!!!

reply

Wow, you are a horrible human being. There is a special place in hell for you. Irony is, someone will probably shoot you dead one day for being such an *beep* Maybe you're own wife, you surely beat senseless every other week when she doesn't vacuum all the cornflakes off your chest after Wheel of Fortune. Sincerely, Snowflake

reply

Nah, my wife's swollen face keeps her in line, and ensures she deliver a proper blumpkin every morning after the coffee kicks in. I don't eat cornflakes anymore because I insist on brand name value only, and I'm boycotting Kellogg's due to their recent withdrawal from advertising on Breitbart. I found out that the fibrous Muesli produces a smellier stool, thus allowing for a pleasurable blumpkin on my end.

btw, you reminded me of my favorite joke of all time:

Q: What's the best part about dating a panda bear?

A: No one questions the black eyes!

reply

Hey you know who else likes to protect their money with guns? Every hypocritical leftist Hollywooder in this movie. Why don't you tell them to stop having so much security around that hot redhead from the movie so I can run up to her and motorboat her without a care? It takes a special kind of stupid to not see through the obvious hypocrisy and virtue signalling from these types.

Maybe you are own wife...?

Doesn't make any fricken sense, libtard. Can you try again?

reply

I'll drink my Christmas eggnog & brandy out of any one of the skulls of those Newton kids, if it maintains my 2nd amendment rights.

This is the scum you gun anti-control advocates want align yourself with.

You're a real piece of work...you do know those were dead kids. Nice to know you have no empathy or decency whatsoever.

reply

Good job having my original "offensive post" removed by the moderator while also preserving it in the quotes segment of your response above, genius.

My rant was designed to bother you. Just like your anti-freedom abominations offend me.

Go look up the word "hyperbole". An effective tool for rousing emotions of the psychically weak.

My real hope is that you ranted and raved all day to your libtard friends about "people like me" without understanding I played you like a dimestore harmonica, or the way Trump played Hillary's campaign managers + the hostile leftist media.

I don't even own an AR-15.

reply

I didn't report you dip *beep* nor I did I think about you at all after your immature rant. And personally I just think you're an ahole who has no empathy for others... and I don't think it's liberals who would get the most upset at your jackassery.

I think the people who would be the most upset would be the parents of the kids who died who might browse this page and see a jerk like yourself bragging about drinking from their dead skulls. But keep bragging about what a genius you are while mocking dead children.

I saw this movie. I enjoyed it.

reply

Please.

Apparently you are unaware of marketing and distribution costs, which -- for a wide release of over 1600 theaters -- often come to many times the film's original budget.

Exist forever it will -- somewhere.
The Netflix-type revenue streams to which you allude pay pittances compared with the home video, broadcast TV and cable rights of yore. There's also no "international market" for two-hour-plus cerebral American political films starring women.

This film will never turn a profit.
Not in a year, not in a hundred years.
Never.

As bad as last weekend was this weekend had to be an even bigger disappointment. It dropped 75%! This film won't gross $4M.

reply

even if it isn't really a pro-gun control movie, it was marketed that way, so if that is what doomed it, maybe Hollywood will learn from this.

It didn't fail as hard as the right-wing Atlas Shrugged movies, even with Fox News shilling for them. Those movies did so poorly the filmmakers had to pay theaters to keep showing the movies, thereby betraying their shallow understanding of the "free market" they were championing. They later accused Google of being part of a left-wing plot to misinform people about the correct movie times.
