WE GOT MOVIE SIIIIIGN!

I've only seen the first episode since it just aired in the US, but I'm more with the critics than the audience. I just didn't enjoy it all that much. I'm going to give the second episode a try, but I don't have high hopes.

It wasn't just that it was inaccurate to the people and the time period, it was inaccurate on almost every point that it could. I might have been able to enjoy it as a silly reimagining/alternate history, but neither the plot nor the characters made up for it. I actively disliked Weston's portrayal of Houdini and it's hard to enjoy a show when you dislike half of the headliners. And it was just a police procedural basically and nothing new about it or even well done.
