If I'm not mistaken one of the executive producers of this show, Christina Jennings is also one on Murdoch Mysteries. One more point , Maureen Jenning is creator of Murdoch Mysteries could these two be related? I do hope they keep this on,Murdoch Mysteries have enjoyed 7 seasons.
