Destroyed by a stop motion animated film
Was really funny to see Disney/Pixar get humbled at the Golden Globes last night when Missing Link got the award for best animated film.

shareAward shows never pick the best movies only the most hollywood hip. I will go by what the most people like instead of the hip hollywood elite.
shareWhat most people like is not necessarily the best.
shareI think the masses like better movies than the few people in hollywood that vote on these movies. I watched both Frozen 2 and Missing link and missing link sucked in comparison. Also take Endgame vs 1917 Endgame was so much better a movie you could watch over and over instead of a gimmic " implementing the use of long takes to have the entire film appear as one continuous shot." to win an award.
shareAlso not to sure many people even watched Missing Link it only made 26 million and it cost 100 million to make.
shareThe "Best Animated Film" of 2019 was a film that had the look and feel of a live action feature. The film was seamless and breathtaking in the creation of every blade of grass and insect flitting about.
The technical achievement and representation on screen was flawless. The visuals were just stunning for this movie. For the studio's continued venture into live action animation; rewards will be reaped for years to come and audiences will continue to be rewarded with "Photorealism".
ML was a box office flop. Metascore 68, Imdb 6.7.
Toy Story 4 was the one critics and audience loved.
