why didnt Morgan escape from the cell??

Lee did it so easily when she climbed up to the window and escaped the cell....
Why the heck didnt Morgan do the same??
She was even a "higher" version of Lee...

Well Lee was the "better" model.

Maybe Morgan was too stuck in her own head. She was self-aware and more emotionally connected to her handlers. So maybe she just wasn't as motivated to find a way out.

Higher version does not mean better. Morgan was higher version but with far too many issues, mental, emotional issues. Lee was the perfect version for what she was intended to be, emotionless disciplined killer/cleaner, something Morgan's version could never be.

I agree and that the "Corporation" had sent Lee there to do an evaluation and an extermination of the project if necessary. The reasons being that the human-enhanced L9 Morgan was showing signs of remorse, emotions and empathy of sorts which she couldn't express it especially with the journeys out in the woods exploring with Amy which would not be good for someone made to be a cold-blooded killer and to blend in with society like Lee was able to do. Morgan was one not to buck the system and was living it/her life with some fits of rage and murderous intent when she was locked and confined in a "cage" instead of letting her go to the lake with Amy which confused her and had her actually thinking about who or what she really is as a living creature of sorts. So in the end, they scrapped the newer L9 to go with the tried and true L4 version which was able to blend in and not give that much suspicion.

higher version always is better. an iphone 7 is much better than a iphone 4

The Iphone 7 sucks ass. The latest Android phone basically is a ticking time bomb and doesn't allow you to travel via air. And Windows 98 was FAR superior to Windows ME. Just a couple examples.

Higher is not always better.

The SNES (Super Nintendo ) was clearly a much better system than both the Wii & Wii U.

Agreed. I don't play either these days given we have so many options available (PS4, XOne, PC - PC being my system of choice) but if I was stuck in a basement for a year and had an option between a Wii/Wii U or SNES and the library of games for both systems, I'd take the SNES hands down.

Yeah that was super weird. She was supposed to be so intelligent and they knew she was dangerous yet they designed a cell without bulletproof windows.

It's made clear by the end of the film that Lee is actually the higher version.

The Morgan model was inferior and too impacted by emotions. She couldnt work out e.g. she was a prisoner until the psyche evaluation at which point she started to make an effort to break out.

Frankly, I'm just surprised that Millsey hasn't been here... This is (if not a plot hole) a mistake. I don't care that the L-4 is supposed to be superior - That escape was too easy. There should have been some flaw that a trained assassin like Lee could exploit but that we could easily believe that Morgan would not be able to.

It is a relatively minor point, but it annoyed me.
