How woke is this?
I’ve noticed a lot of fragile posts in this forum crying about feminism and diversity. As I am extremely fragile, should I be worried by how woke this movie is?

shareIt is the wokest movie ever. All the white male ghosts are revealed to be evil and they all die. The heroic little girl is a lesbian who has interracial sex while denouncing the evils of straight men. There are also a bunch of transgender asian ghosts who end up saving the world by castrating all white men.
shareGross.
shareEven though you’re a pathetic wokist trying to mock the very reasonable concern normal people have with the insanely racist/sexist wokening of Hollywood, you’ve accidentally asked an intelligent question.
The answer, thankfully, is that the film is minimally woke. There’s some forced diversity and especially the ‘strong’ black girl who keeps denigrating the kid from Stranger Things is irritating, and Winston is now a high powered black business magnate (cos those are common) but that’s about it.
Gozer is now trans, which was a weird retcon, but s/he’s a villain and the film calls it out for being ‘woke’ so I can sort of give it a pass.
The small rural town is generally far more diverse than it would be in real life. It’s 2/10 woke, not enough to derail the film, which is surprisingly good and definitely worth watching.
Gozer is and has always been genderless, as quoted from the 1984 movie;
Winston: “I thought Gozer was a man?”
Egon: “It’s whatever it wants to be”
Fail.
Gozer is clearly assuming the same form it chose in GB - which was a woman but is now a trannie. Also Afterlife shows this as a ‘core form’ of Gozer because that is the shape of the statue dedicated to it, and that idol is transsexual.
So, all of the woke elements I pointed to still stand, despite your failed effort to nitpick one of them.
"Gozer is clearly assuming the same form it chose in GB"
Gozer didn't "choose" that form. That is Gozer's default form. The form Gozer chose in the first GB was the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. That's Gozer the Destructor. But apparently, Gozer itself is actually the Jovan/Wilde form.
Just because Egon said "It's whatever it wants to be" doesn't mean he knew exactly what he was talking about. He was just surmising from the information he had.
All of which bolsters my point.
shareThe OP is just one of dozens of sock puppet accounts by the resident troll.
share@Drooch: Gozer is NOT trans in this movie. Olivia Wilde is as female as it gets.
shareNot very woke. Totally within sanity-limits. Nothing like the 2016 crapfest supreme.
