As a teacher?

reply

PAUL RUDD WOULD BE VERY BELIEVABLE AS EGON'S SON.

reply

Agreed. Or maybe Baby Oscar from Ghostbusters 2 all grown-up.

I have mixed feelings about Paul Rudd being in a "Ghostbusters" movie. I mean, isn't this guy's shtick pretty much stoner comedies? James Rolfe said it best when that kinda stuff should say out of anything "Ghostbuters"-related.

And I'm not impressed with the title. You should never put a year in it. This is going to make it seem very dated when the time comes. Plus, if it's canon to the original two films, then why not just call it, you know, "Ghostbusters 3" or "III"? At least acknowledge there's two movies prior to this one.

The title is growing on me. The year will probably have some significance to the story. If they call the film "Ghostbusters 3", then they run the risk of alienating potential new fans who haven't seen the first two movies from the 80s.

I don't know much about stoner comedies, but I've enjoyed Paul Rudd in every role I've seen him in and the guy has range. He can do earnest mentor ("Perks of Being a Wallflower"), sarcastic straight man ("Clueless"), endearingly awkward boyfriend ("Friends"), and superhero/stay-at-home dad ("Ant Man" + "Ant Man and The Wasp").

reply

lol stoner comedies? Are you talking about Seth Rogen? Rudd has been in many various roles that didn't involve being stoned.

reply

Oh great, we're safe.
