Video - spoiler

I really didn't like when the babysitter made the kids "watch" a porn movie.
Saw this film at Frightfest London today.

reply

yeah that scene made me uncomfortable too. it was a massive destruction of innocence for the kids and the daughters reaction was definitely the most upsetting.

reply

Sounds edgy. THAT'S how you get into Tribeca, kids.

.

reply

I really didn't like that we didn't get to see ANY of the video!

reply

For me it was one of the strongest statements in the movie! Shows perfectly how disturbed is Anna/Emelie.

And those kids will need SERIOUS therapy... This is the movie I want to watch! After the trauma, how messed up they became?

reply

Although this was definitely a very wrong thing for her to have done, I think killing the hamster with the pet snake would've been the most disturbing thing they witnessed.

I really felt uncomfortable watching that scene, literally covering my face at times, as I felt so much for the poor creature.

reply

It's bizarre that you have no complaints about watching humans die in movies, but when a snake eats a hamster, it's harrowing and unbearable to watch! I'm picturing you as a serial killer with a house packed with hamsters where you torture people before feeding their corpses to your pets.

reply

Righteousness for the fail.

Michele said nothing about how she felt about seeing people die. Only that it was the worse thing the sitter did to the kids and that it was an excruciating scene to watch which the director obviously intended it to be.

reply

I simply looked at her other comments, and she seems to be fascinated by and adore movies where humans are murdered haha.

reply

From your comment I was expecting to see things like Saw, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Haute Tension, Dexter, Se7ven and Mr Brooks.

Instead I see Medics, The Night Manager, Happy Valley, Madame Bovary, Call the Midwife, War & Peace, Jane Eyre, Scott & Bailey, Nobel and Dickensian.

Clearly she revels in murder and death. ::rolleyes::
haha

reply

Nice cherry picking of a few select movies while turning a blind eye to the hundreds of comments and ratings that don't fit your preconceived notion.

reply

If I am cherry picking then it should be no trouble at all for you to name five such movies or shows from the last five months.

What I listed was representative of the overwhelming majority of comments and shows voted on. I didn't see a single movie or show like you are alluding to.

reply

On the contrary, I am waiting for you to show me the comments where she's opposing the killing of humans. I can't find a single one..

reply

excellent, but transparent

reply

Too bad I don't get rewards for winning these arguments on the internet haha

reply

You do get points for winning.
Which is why you have none.

reply

Try to have some empathy for the poor pet snake that has to eat only dead things for it's entire life. That's cruel!

reply

Even worse, it wasn't a regular porn movie, but their parent's sex tape. That's even more disturbing...
