A pitiful movie that just doesn't work

They would have us believe that this unstable girl would go into a home to snatch a kid, but before she does it, she subjects them to horrible events. The smart thing would've been to play along, be nice to the kids, and then snatch Christopher when the other 2 go to bed. But no, let's show them porn of their dad boinking some other woman.
I'm not buying it at all.

The rest of the story was just as bad:

-- How did they target this family

--When she calls her friend to stall the parents with an accident, why would he end up dead. All he had to do was ram the car enough to slow them down. Not kill himself.

--How did Emelie get her hands on that video. Since it's not the mom in the video, I'd assume dad would have that well-hidden.

--If Emelie wants Christopher for her new "Cubby", why does she take him into the bedroom to smother him. And when she attempts to smother him, he's gone because she searches for him. But in the next scene, he's back and she decides to carry him out. Huh?

--Emelie is not smart enough to move from behind a vehicle backing up? It wasn't even moving that fast!

--Jacob's friend Howie (who btw spend hrs in the clubhouse?) is in an ambulance at the end of the movie. What did I miss with that?!? When did he hurt himself.

--I couldn't help but notice Howie's mom is in the credits. I don't recall seeing her.


This movie was all over the place. I'd swear it was written, directed, and edited by a group of jr high schoolers. What a waste of time.
