Love the lack of romance
Can't remember the last time a Disney Channel pilot didn't focus on a girl crushing on a boy. Probably Shake It Up in 2010. Even Good Luck Charlie and Girl Meets World involved the main character crushing on someone.
shareAgreed, I hate to say it but I think Disney forgets how young it's target audience is with all the crushes, boyfriends, and love triangles they have on these shows. Not trying to be a prude but they have things like girls chasing after guys on kid shows and then wonder why girls are so "fast" nowadays.
