Be careful whom you label "slutty," rekoehler11. Rachel is a self-absorbed 16-year-old. But in the long run family comes first with her. She showed that on several episodes so far. If Rachel were a slut, as you say, she'd be sleeping around with Cuffs and probably other boys. She dresses in questionable outfits at times but is testing boundaries and her parents quickly rein her in.
Daphne does concern me with her collection of dolls that look like props for an Alice Cooper concert tour. She also is the youngest of seven siblings and is fighting for attention, not always pleasantly. I expect her to grow out of it. Louie and Beast are rambunctious kids who will mellow out as they get older.
Speaking as the oldest of a (now longtime grown) family of six children, much of the over-the-top behavior portrayed is here done for effect to emphasize the incredible energy and, yes, sometimes chaos of a family of nine. (My siblings and I, like the Diaz family, were raised Roman Catholic.) But in the end all of the children are there for each other. That's one thing emphasized on this show: in the end, for the Diaz clan the greater good of the family comes first.
Yeah, I know filankey is not a word, but it's gonna catch on.
