Girls with boys' names

One thing I find slightly annoying about Disney's series is that in almost every single one, there's a girl with a boy's name--sometimes two. It seems like it must be on purpose, but why?

Some names are unisex. Most are spelled differently reguarding genders, but not all.

TERRY TERI
CARY CARRIE
NICKY NIKKI
AARON ERIN
ADRIAN ADRIENNE
BILLY BILLE

HARLEY
JAMIE
RILEY
CASEY

To name a few.

In high school I knew a girl whose friends all called her Mike. Her given name was Michael, not Michaela, Mikala or Michelina (or some-such variation).

Yeah, I know filankey is not a word, but it's gonna catch on.

It's 21st century. Just about every name is unisex. But Disney is very pro bisexual, pro transgender, pro homogeneous, pro sexualization of kids and sick stuff like that. They have and always will blur the lines, big time.
