They whitewashed the hell out of this family
They are Latino but the writers have made zero attempt at bringing some culture on screen

yeah they're all pretty white passing and I know it wasnt a mistake on Disneys part to cast like that
shareI agree. I like this show but it would be better to have a little more Latino culture. But it's Disney and they seem to want to make t more generic.

I just saw a quinceañera episode for Georgie so at least that was something. It was pretty funny too. What would you guys like to see? Maybe if they showed more traditional dishes for dinner or a family trip to a Latin country? Or maybe a visit from a Spanish speaking grandparent or other relatives?
shareMaybe something like The Brother's Garcia or Taina. I agree they should incorporate more ethnic culture onto the show; this family's a little 'too' relatable, which is fine for comfort I guess, but not fine for exposing kids to diverse cultures and different lifestyles.
