Whenever I think the show can't get dumber....

...the writers prove me wrong.

Now we're supposed to believe Patterson's father is the actual Bill Nye the Science Guy, but in three years it has never come up in conversation with anyone on the team? With the exception of the pitiful attempt, to make it believable, of having Zapata recognize him as if she knew all along. All that did was make it more unbelievable. She also never would have mentioned it? That was just a pathetic and failed attempt to make the show more appealing. If they want to do that, simply remove the running soap opera.

The worst part is the fact the Bill Nye foolishness wasn't even close to the dumbest writing in the episode.
