While I doubt they kill her off, there has been some speculation, I've clicked on a couple of articles and I will say none of them included any quotes, literally they've all said 'speculation' - that Jaimie Alexander contractual obligations with Marvel for the Thor and Avenger movies that it's possible she might be moving to a recurring guest star role or leaving Blindspot entirely.
I take the approach that her character is literally the show, so I hope its not true that she's leaving or taking a reduced role on the show. But if they did need to have her take on a reduced role for next season so that the actress can fulfill her other obligations I guess what they could do is have her and her brother go on the run from the CIA for parts of the season.

That's not a bad idea (your suggestion about Jane and her brother being on the run from the CIA). Would be disappointing. Weller and Jane make the show, her especially. A lot of great shows suffer when one of their leads leaves or takes a reduced role (puts me in mind of when that happened to Mulder's character in the X-Files). So I hope they can manage it wisely.

Actually, amnesia would be reason to rule him not competent to aid his defense, and would likely prevent prosecution until the amnesia was resolved. share

Remi is merely the name her horrible "mother" assigned to her after stealing her and Ian/Roman from the horrible orphanage. I'm not sure we've heard Jane's actual original name?
Remi and Roman were Alice and Ian Kruger.

Did Shepard mention the name while she was reminding Jane of how she and Ramon came to be in her care? Or did Ramon use it at some point?
Shephard told her she was born Alice Kruger when they first met in the first episode of this season, along with their origin story.
