I suspected when Borden and Shepherd were talking after Patterson had been rescued that they'd planted something on her when they were stabbing her in the ear (like possibly a listening device, to make up for the loss of the mole at the FBI?) And now that we see the horrible migraines she's been having it looks like I was correct.

It also makes me even more disgusted with the FBI: Patterson should never have been allowed back at work so soon after everything she went through. AND the FBI should have checked her out medically after shed'd been maimed and tortured. If they'd done a competent job, they might have figured out what Shepherd had done to her her. Instead, they gave her pills and sent her back to work.
