Ennis Esmer/Rich Dotcom

We NEED this guy as a series regular... he increases the stock of this show infinitely. I had given up on the show in S1 and just had happened to catch his first appearance at a friend's house and decided to stay on board with the show.

I feel like the keep teasing a recurring role... GIVE IT, this guy has gotta be good for ratings and provides a much needed comedic relief in a show that has sub par procedurals and decent soapy-drama elements.

He's way to over the top and incredibly annoying. Maybe if they toned him down a bit. Or a lot.

reply

I disagree about him being a series regular - his character is nice comedic relief if they use him too much it will become stale.

reply

I agree--- I like him when he shows up, but he'd get really annoying if he was on every week.

I'd be happy to never see him again. But since the powers that be seem to like his character, once per season is enough.

I like him.

Every now and then would be fine, kinda like Q on ST:TNG. I laughed at his comment in the last appearance, about teaming up with them to catch super criminals once a week and that he would wear a hat.

reply

That was a nod at the blacklist.

reply

Hahaha, I loved that line about solving a crime every week, like a little fourth wall break! I totally missed the blacklist reference about wearing a hat though, lol! I agree he's great but making him a regular would bring diminishing returns.

reply

No we don't. We need him to be killed off so he stops dragging this down.

He was incredibly annoying in Dark Matter, as well as Blindspot. Same character, exactly. Complete jerk. I hope he goes away.

And while I'm in a bitchy mood, LOL, I will go on to say, I was SO glad when Luke Mitchell got killed off of Agents of SHIELD, only to have him pop up the very next week on this show. The guy is barely worthy of a role on General Hospital.

Done ranting, I just had to get that out there.
