So realistic!

I really enjoy the realism because in my experience FBI SA's always start up random relations with their coworkers. In fact it is sort of a bureau policy. I think we all know that relationships especially in the early phase is super conducive to simply getting the job
Done. And assistant directors continually lead raids and are typically taksed with focusing on 1 case vice oversight of an entire field office.

How did a show that was really pretty good in season 1 go so bad? I feel like they are making it up as the go along now and just plodding theough stretcjing it out as far as possible.

Really disapointed- which I know disapoints all of you :)

Well the case that that the Assistant Director is focusing on is unique:

1) When the case first started he was not an Assistant Director and instead the lead agent on the case.

2) it's not like this is a low-priority case, they are attempting to bring down a major terrorist organization

3) He's personally being targeted/manipulated....though I wondered in Season 1 if that should actually exclude him from the case

Technically he should be sitting behind his desk and delegating but Weller is and always has been a field agent its what he does and he was never going to sit around while everyone else did the work for him. If this were real life though they wouldn't let him near this case his way to personally involved and its a major conflict of interest, his names tattooed on her back it doesn't get anymore personal than that well except maybe for the part where he has fallen in love with Jane (even if he is in denial about that right now).
