That's right, an actual talented director is working on this movie. I haven't seen a lot of his work, but I have seen Two Bits, and that movie was so *beep* great.

What is this guy doing on a Fifty Shades sequel??? It's so sad.

Worked with producer Dana Brunetti on House of Cards, think Dana wanted someone they could approach (control) more than Sam!

I'm hoping that wont be the case here. The guy has directed many movies I liked
including Glengarry Glen Ross, Fear and At Close Range. He also directed an underrated movie called After Dark, My Sweet.
He can direct a movie and when I heard that he was announced to direct, it gave me some hope for some major improvement and a reason to give this another shot.

Well Foley was nominated for a Razzie worst director....

Even Stanley Kubrick and Brian De Palma have though. The Razzies mean nothing to me.

The main purpose of Razzie nominations is to publicize the existence of the Razzie.

Amen to that...that group started out as a roomful of men gathered in a living room...anyone can join..you don't even have to be in the movie business..

From what I've seen so far - I think he did a terrific job.
