For fans of the films

What's the worse that could happen if it doesn't do well at the box office?

If you like the films, that's okay. I had a lot of problems with the first and I won't see the second.

Also, what do they do with all the money they made from the first?

Nothing bad will come from bad box office. They're already filming the third so it'd be pointless if they don't release it.

Hi Multi_Guy,

They've already filmed Freed. Freed and Darker were shot at the same time and the budgets of each film were half of Fifty Shades of Grey. While Darker may not make as much, it will be a hit at the box office and hopefully, get better reviews than the first movie.

I've invested a lot of reading time into this series. Whether or not they are box office hits, will not make a difference to me. I will see them both very happily. I for one, am so looking forward to their release. As I've mentioned before, these movies are just for sheer entertainment. It's not like they are Academy Award contenders...and I'm ok with this fact. As long as most of the key parts of the book(s) are filmed, I personally, will be a very happy camper.

Already 5 million hits on YouTube...someone is excited..besides us.

I agree. People are going to see the movie whether or not they liked the first one. The haters - so they can bitch and complain and everyone else.

Nah, FSOG was on social media the weekend it was released, why waste good money on crap when you can see it for free?
