20th Century Women; the movie that demystifies CG's appeal

No longer regretting sitting through the first 30mins of 20CW last night before walking out of the auditorium in sheer disgust, as I've now learned a great deal. Whatever other flaws SeƱor Grey might have he, unlike our hapless teen hero, won't ever be caught:
-laying down next to the object of his desire as she yammers on about her latest escapade with yet another guy/her day more generally, while rebuffing his only stab at behaving as her lover.
-Supplicating in silence when this same gal can't help but share that her newest f--k buddy came inside her. Although to be fair, he did mutter a barely audible "I don't wanna hear this s--t" before resuming his submissive stance.
-Going on to buy her a pregnancy test and helping her use said device to determine whether or not she's knocked up as a result of this encounter,
-Laying in bed with her with all of their clothes on after she sneaks into his house and hops between the sheets. We're told in voiceover that this has been happening ever since her mother's divorce and her the birth of her half sister. He's a shoulder to cry on and embraces it.
-Accompanying some other broad who he's neither interested in nor even particularly friendly with to the gyno while she receives the news that she can't have kids.

And if all that wasn't enough, we're told verbatim that we're watching the making of a "good man."

This is a good summary of a film. PERIOD!
