Do you guys think this film will be good?

While I hate the first movie, the commercials do look pretty good for the sequel. The budget is bigger, the production values are much higher, etc. Unfortunately, the story doesn't sound too great. I get the impression Anastasia is now open to more sexual experimentation, but where else is the story going to go? While I like watching movies about sex, the first movie really had nothing to say about it. It was 2 hours of Anastasia crying that she wants a relationship, while Christian just wanted Anastasia as a slam-piece. Oh well, that might be grossly overlooking the point that the filmmaker wanted to make, but I just found no substance in the first movie. Still, I'm curious about this film because the visuals look great.

The first movie was really bad. I had to fast forward or cover my eyes because it was embarrassing and the cheesy dialogue didn't help. Basically it's about two people who shouldn't be in a relationship, try and make it work. Ana was a bit stronger in the movie but she was still weak.

It had the highest amount of sins in a movie on the YouTube channel and people really enjoyed tearing it apart because it was bad. I've seen critics get mad because of the franchise. Looking forward to Chris Stuckmann, JohnFlickster and Jeremy Jahn's reviews, agreed 100% with them on the first film.

The sequel might be a little better because there are more characters and story but they are doing the same thing with the first. They really are trying to sell the movie and Jamie/Dakota's attitudes towards doesn't didn't help. It will make a lot of money but not break box office records.

I have a lot of issues with the plot and characters but if it's something you enjoy, watch it. I wouldn't recommend taking your Valentine to see it in the theaters though.

Darker begins their love story...and it truly is...Jamie has said you see a gentler side to Christian...and he smiles a lot and has some jokes...Darker was my favorite of the books...but 50 Shades was needed to set up the characters. I think it will make more money than the first.

Oh right, you're the one I've heard about. Can't take other people's opinions and defends it to the death.

No wonder IMDB is shutting down.
