Canadian rating gives more reason as to why FSD is rated R
There is less than a month until the release of the movie Fifty Shades Darker and the description of the Canadian rating is giving new insight into the risque scenes in the film!
The movie received an R rating from the MPAA in the United States for “strong erotic sexual content, some graphic nudity and language.”
Fifty Shades Darker, starring Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson, has received an “18 Accompaniment” rating in Canada and the decision summary gives a lot more detail!
The Consumer Protection board in Canada said that “the following were determinative to the classification decision: Several sexually suggestive scenes with three depicting nude breasts and/or buttocks.”
The description went on to say that, “Classifiers also noted the following: Several scenes of nudity, depicting breasts, buttocks and/or pubic region, in sexual and non-sexual contexts; Approximately 28 instances of coarse and/or sexual language; Four scenes depicting sexual content; and Three scenes of violence depicting physical assault and/or weapons.”
