Q. Didn't read the books but I thought Jack and Christian knew each other bcuz they was in foster care together. Here, it looks like they don't they way they're being introduced. Can u explain? Is that how it was played in the book?

At this time in the book/movie, neither is aware they know each other...then Jack finds out long before Christian knows...Ana introduces Christian at this bar..up till then, all Jack knows is Ana has a boyfriend.

Glad to see what scene made the film. That's always been one of my favorite scenes when Jack invites her to the Friday night happy hour with the staff, thinking he's going to eel in there. ha

Then up sidles Christian and backs him off.

Some of the early stuff before Jack got weird was entertaining. When Ana is trying not to discuss who her boyfriend is at all, because she just doesn't want to get into it at work...and Jack keeps pressing her...then Jack realizes it's THE Christian Grey. hahaha
