Notice how UNENTHUSED Dakota was on the Today Show intervoew?

It was funny/odd/strange that she had ZERO passion about the film or the character.

What growth did your character go through from the first to the second film?
"I guess more confidence in herself?" End of statement.

What was it like filming 2 and 3 back to back?
"We filmed for like 6 months and it was hard and confusing at times."
End of statement.

I mean, it was embarrassing and the host was all chipper: "We can't wait to see it, the world can't wait!"

Dakota said, "Yeah, really?"

Really bizarre. If I was a producer, I'd be FURIOUS over her lack of enthusiasm.

Jamie's interview behaviours have been about the same as Dakota's. Dammit, they should just make the best of it for Gods sake!! Fans want to see a little enthusiasm from them...is it too much to ask for??

It was the oddest thing to watch, almost like interviewing someone who wasn't even in the film. Her answers were so vague, short and gave you no desire whatsoever to see the film. And all those awkward silences -- the host thought there would be more "answer" but it wasn't coming!

I agree--feign enthusiasm! You sort of knew what you were getting into when you took the role, so have some "fun" with the whole process, but to be so shut down is kinda unprofessional.

Yeah she looked DEAD (and rather ugly I must say), as if she wanted to say, "Can we talk about something besides these movies?" Clearly she thinks the books and movies are beyond foolish--at least she's got more sense than archer, isundling, and starzshine!

When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading!

It seems the major difference between her morning interviews and afternoon/nightly ones is alcohol. Dakota doesn't interview well sober, just saying.

Maybe she's nervous? I give her a pass on answering, "what's your favorite sex toy?"

The only interview I've seen is when she played a word game with jimmy Fallon. It was kind of funny.

She does a lot of one-line answers and says "ummmmm".

Has anyone else noticed how much Dakota looks like EL James? It's weird

Thing is, like everyone says, she KNEW what she was getting into. She could of said "no" or had a lively sense of humor about it. I think when she was on SNL a couple years ago, it was sort of fun/funny. Like I posted, if I was one of the producers I'd be furious with her; it's part of her JOB to act, sell the movie, repeat.

It's stunning how no one involved actually cares about these movies. Even Michael Bay at least gets an erection every time something blows up in his Transformers movies.

Well, the "actors" (for lack of a better word, if that's what you want to call them) obviously did these dumb movies for the paycheck, because they know that there are tons of idiots like isundling out there who worship it because they don't know any better. So the actors know they can at least make a big paycheck on this series, even if they want to immediately forget about them afterwards and move on to something actually decent.

I go after people who read these stupid books in a continuous loop over and over again and who want to be buried with these books and movies. I'm offended by stupidity, that's all! For what it's worth, archer and starzshine could probably be placed into this category as well, but isundling is their ringleader!

But why? I'm serious. Who cares what people like or are into, at least they're passionate about something. I'd rather the internet, hell, the world, even, be filled with the likes of Isundlings, rather than the black holes that permeate the space around here. The world is unhinged. There are bigger things to be stressed about and fight against. You're a creative and well spoken guy. These books don't deserve your passion or time.

I got the impression that Dakota knows these films are pretty bad,but will hold her nose and do them and pick up the paychecks.

I gotta give Dakota some credit because at least she puts a little effort into promoting it.

With the right amount of alcohol, I'll watch it but I'm mostly looking forward to the reviews and etc.

The actors knew what they were getting into but even with the right amount of money, I wouldn't be in the films.

The movies are a complete crapfest and she knows this but sucks it up and does it anyways because she gets a huge paycheck.
