shareExcept Ana never really "accepts" any cash or jewels from Christian as rewards. He tries to give her money and she refuses and/or gives it away. Any jewelry she got is nothing more than the type of gift any boyfriend would give to his girlfriend, whether he's rich or not. And a major piece of gifted jewelry was an engagement ring, so he made an honest woman of her. She's marrying him, she's his wife, the money, along with all of his other personal and emotional baggage, just comes with being involved with him.
