Boycott IMDb
After Feb 20th.
shareYeah I think a lot of people will stop coming here. Cancelling the message boards is RIDICULOUS. The site's popularity is going to crash. What are they thinking?
Fabio Testi is GOD
It's one of the worst decisions!
Sorry my english grammar, but I'm portuguese.
They might as well just close down the whole web site. There will be no point to visit this web site anymore.

people will stop coming here for sure ....i mean, you can get movie news other places, ET, E online, tmz, rotten tomatoes....... this is bullsh!t, but blaming the US president is silly....it ´s hollywood moviemakers and actors who don´t want people criticizing their movies, they only want our money, no questions asked !
shareI won't come here after the 20th. I have been coming here for 8 years. I like the interaction (most of the time). I could care less about the random drive bys...But there are good people here who like actually like to talk about a movie they like.
shareIt was a PHUKKING JOKE, YOU MORON! -Mr. Duraiswamy
After 8 years of people blaming Obama if they had to stop @ a red light...
I fell asleep during INCEPTION BUT I FEEL like I still saw it!
If anybody is interested in another movie database with dedicated boards for every individual title and person, there is a website called TMDB (https://www.themoviedb.org/talk) that recently added message boards for every specific movie and person (example: https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/149871-kaguyahime-no-monogatari/discuss You have to click on the little word bubble icon on the top left of the movie's page). A bunch of people from IMDb have already gathered at their general boards and and are discussing ways to increase activity and serve as an alternative to IMDb.
I encourage everyone to take a look at this site. I think it looks very promising. It's the only other site I know of with message boards for every movie, actor, director, etc.
I also encourage everyone to spread the word about this site, as it seems most people don't know about it.
The only reason I come to IMDb is for the message boards. It's the first thing I click on when I go into the titles. What's misguided, awful decision.
