Does this movie only appeal to women who are beautiful and attractive?
Or perhaps I should be asking if men on here would only see it if they have a hot partner.

shareWell Dakota is attractive in the movie. If perhaps she was average looking women, then I don't think a man like Christian Grey would even like her. Plus all that bdsm he would possibly only do to a sexy woman.
So I'm thinking that this is a something that attractive women envy, but they know in their minds it will never happen. Basically the movie is selling a fake fantasy to people.
I'm pretty sure a majority of women would want to hook up with a man like Grey, who has lots of money and good looks. But the hard truth is that it's not going to happen.
Just my opinion.
I beg to disagree...everyone at my movie theater was gorgeous...I mean stunning..and as far as hooking up with a man like Grey...that is why this movie is a fantasy...and how many of your fantasies are real, anyway? If you are not a book fan, you wouldn't understand..
Kind of like Twilight...how many women really wanted to marry and have sex with a vampire?...probably lots..

plus Dakota is very average looking and so is the the main girl in the books (supposedly) so that doesn't make sense either.
I took my son to the Lego batman movie, and there was a huge line for this movie, and I didn't see one attractive woman there. All overweight fuglies in line. I do not know what any woman would find appealing about this type of story. It's like a bad skinemax movie, softcore porn with a plot. At least us guys can admit we watch porn, but it takes 5-10 minutes instead of 1 hour and 40, and I sure as hell wouldn't watch it at a theatre.
