I haven't made my mind up yet, but to be honest of all the message boards is the main reason I come on here.

I think it is a terrible decision by IMDb. I like to have a forum to discuss the films that I see, and this was sort of the perfect place for it. IMDb refer to their social media accounts, but I just can't see how that is going to work. It is going to be one big mess of comments in one giant pile.

I doubt I'll be using it at all.
Everything I'm interested in is available through original sources and actors etc. keep their wiki pages more up to date than these incomplete ones on IMDB now.
I won't be back.
Amazon probably has some big revamping planned to monetize the site, and they'll have to after they lose millions of clicks/hits coming to the page now that they can use to sell advertising.
And they must know that, so probably have some revamp in the works to make it big and better or something.
My usage will drastically drop...as will imdb's income.
My people skills are fine. It's my tolerance of morons that needs work.
I don't mind that they are eliminating the message boards. I used to post a lot 5 years ago and loved the community. But these days I find a lot of negativity in some of the threads. I use IMBD for what they print, so I don't think it will affect me. I am sorry for the folks who have a comfortable community. But there is always reddit.

I mainly use IMDb to keep track of what I've watched (and post the occasional review), so I'll continue using it. I've barely used the message boards.
