Any oscar buzz?

shareIt's not happening this time. "Fifty Shades of Grey", even with the negative reviews, had a tiny bit more "respect" for it and the aspects of the film that were genuinely liked were too hard to ignore.
This time around, the critical consensus is absolutely scathing and I've yet to see the original songs in this get anywhere near the traction "Earned It" or "Love Me Like You Do" earned. If "I Don't Want to Live Forever" or "Not Afraid Anymore" are remembered, it'll be either miraculous or a weak year even for Original Song standards.
There's a difference between a differing opinion and a forced one.
I highly doubt there will be any oscar buzz for this movie to get nominated for Best Original Song. There's gonna be the new 'Beauty and the Beast' coming out and they have 3 additional songs for the live-action remake. Even if it will, it's still a long shot for now...
share^ this. Disney is always guaranteed a Song nomination and unless "Beauty and the Beast" is a catastrophe, one or two of the new songs will definitely be in contention.

No. No Oscar buzz. That buzz you hear is bats flying around inside 45's skull.
Don't tell me you love animals if that's cow muscle on your plate.
