I totally agree! Because I work in the field of education, this is a very personal issue to me. I teach a lot of students who will never remember me, but I do hope to still instill some values that they'll keep in mind as they progress through their careers.

So I feel pretty safe saying she did indeed know ,how much more she was going to strip in this movie than Jamie. She was not blindsided,so apparently she was ok with it. Why you whine about it all the time I don't understand. Women have been getting the shaft (pun) from the beginning of time. No it's not ok...No,its not right. But Im sure you could find thousands of other movies to preach to about the same thing. Im sure if I watched you'r talking kid movie I could find something in it that demoralizes women.

No i don't feel one bit sorry for complaining, Scott Eastwood confirmed he auditioned for Grey and was told that full frontal nudity was required for the part so its unfair that Jamie got away with it!

I don't think he auditioned. He said he was going to but then he felt uneasy since there was no script and that whole little nudity issue. But it's like the Law of Diminishing Returns when it comes to the studio's stance on nudity. In the beginning they had a cesspool of talent to choose from, so they were up on their high horse concerning their demands. By the end, they couldn't be choosy, and throw their weight around, when production was due to get delayed, so they caved. And boom, Jamie Dornan got his clause accepted and signed off on--this is my guess.

But even if the studio came back to Scott, or someone like Scott, and said, 'Hey, you remember what we said about that whole nudity issue. Yeah, we were just kidding. You can keep your clothes on, kid." Do you really think his dad wouldn't have pressured him to not take the role, knowing what it would do to his son's career? Maybe the studio did come back later to some of these more well known actors, but they had time to think it over and read the already talked-about gossip being churned out, and decided to pass.

I wouldn't be surprised if they asked him to take off his wedding ring in those multi-city premiers to promote the movie even further. I can't, and honestly don't, want to think how hard they came down on Dakota and Jamie to sell this real life image of them being together for the press tour. And why, so these craze-nut 'Damie' fans I die a little every time I write that ridiculous word can get another delusional minute of hope that these two are actually together?

I said this before and will say it again. If I was Jamie and my marriage would actually be in disrepair, which I don't think it is, I'd buy my wife off in keeping up with the married image until this franchise is in the rear view mirror. They will bleed this ideology dry, selling Jamie and Dakota as lovers if you give them half the chance.

He said straight out for the first one he signed a contract it ticked off the fans, he or the producers didn't learn from their mistake so for Darker he/they teased with them with the whole "perhaps this time" routine in which fans see not only does he not go full frontal but he's even less naked than the last one! This movie is meant to be for women but all we got is Dakota's funbags flapping about in the wind!

Comparing these two on-screen couples is like comparing apples to oranges. Gosling and Stone are not in a money maker like FSOG. Now, don't get that confused with quality. FSOG was always about making as much as they can, not about producing a movie of quality. It will say, do, and pretend to be anything to break box office numbers. It's like a deal with the devil.

Also, Ryan Gosling most likely doesn't even audition for roles anymore, he probably has a stack of scripts to choose from, sent by people who know Ryan's got the power when it comes to negotiations. They're not going to squeeze him to do anything he doesn't want to do because just his name sells tickets. He has a huge fan base. He can walk away from a script and get another, just as easily, and I'm sure they know that going in.

Clint Eastwood got his start in television and spaghetti westerns. He starred in a movie with an orangutan and for about a decade insisted his squeeze Sondra Locke was in every movie he made. Clint is not the epitome of Hollywood career purity you make him out to be.

He just lived long enough for people to forget his showbiz roots.

As for Scott, there's not a chance in hell he turned down the role of Christian Grey.

If Clint Eastwood had a father in Hollywood, like Scott Eastwood has, Clint may never had to have made that movie with the cute little orangutan--which, was one of my favorite movies as a kid, so I'm glad he did make it. And I'm sure nobody has forgotten what Clint Eastwood is like, least of all, Sondra Locke. Try reading this biography, it's a great book!

I don't follow Scott Eastwood's career. I'm not a fan of Fifty. The only reason I'm on this board is because of Jamie. So, I really don't know the point you're trying to prove. Why Jamie got it or why Scott turned it away, because I have little doubt if Scott wanted it, he could've had it. Just like if Clint wanted to produce Fifty, he could've produced Fifty.

But enough on this topic. I will agree to disagree on this issue.
