Spraying for mosquitos! *COUGH*

I think I laughed the hardest at that moment. If you are as old as me... you would remember that they used to just drive trucks around in the summer and spray gas clouds of insecticides all over suburban and rural neighborhoods... regardless if there were children playing outdoors when they sprayed or not! 😂

I called my mother after that scene to tell her about it, because it happened all the time without warning on my childhood street... and my mom would always run out of the house to bring all the kids inside (not just my sisters and I)... and then chase the slow moving gas truck down the street and rip those drivers a new one!😅 Classic!

Happened all the time when I was a kid and yes, it still happens every once in a while now. I live in Florida though, so we have a bit more of a problem than in other areas. Nothing like it was in the 70s/80s though!

I'm sorry to hear that you live in Florida... why don't you try and escape to a 1st world nation.😉 Seriously though, in Indiana they haven't done it since the mid 80s.

Your joke would have worked much better if you hadn't used Indiana as your example of a "1st world nation". I know you were kidding, but still. Come on!

It still happens where I live too (Georgia). Normally right around sunset so kids are usually inside by then. I honestly didn't know it was abnormal until now lol

What's funnier is that are always running behind the truck to play in the cloud. My uncle's said they all used to run behind the mosquito spray truck.
