Bill Burr shouldn't have voiced this.

Whenever I see the dad and then him saying the lines, I just see Bill instead of the character because we're just so familiar with Bill, I just can't see past that.

I see this character he portrays in his comedy routines. He portrays his dad and he made it into this. I just can't see past that.

But they just copied King of the Hill combined with Family guy especially the blonde hot guy next door like Quagmire and then kids and *beep* It's like Bob's Burger subtle humor combined with married with family and a little here and little there.

However,
It has potential. I particularly enjoy the nostalgic 'that 70s show' theme.

Have you tried contacting the show's creators? Maybe they'll completely change the plot line and characters and fire Bill, due to your comments. You have the power!

I thought it was fine, I mean who's voice would be better?

reply

Wow. The op is a f'ing neanderthal.

That sounds like your issue. I happen to think he was perfectly cast as the father. I couldn't imagine anyone else voicing the role.

The Brady Bunch had kids, did they steal that idea from Family Guy too?

the blonde hot guy next door like Quagmire

I don't recall Quagmire being a blonde hot guy.

They just copied Family guy? Which just copied The Simpsons, what's your point?

reply

no, not even close to family guy

Nowadays you got to create content for yourself to make it to TV series level, so he *really* had to write himself into this.

I guess after a few episodes you'll get used to separate him from the character?

reply

Bill's voice sells the character. Without Bill, the angrily-delivered lines wouldn't be near as funny.

reply

I just see a frustrated and miserable cartoon character.

reply

That’s sad, guess this show just isn’t for you.

reply

Actually I watched all three seasons and am waiting on the fourth. Now fuck off! I got work to do.
