No WAY do I buy the ending....... (Spoiler)

I know its a true story based on the true Story.
I understand their is written accounts of this story.

But no way do I believe that someone as smart as Jimmy.....

*just lost his cool one day (is that why they told us he was medicated, to show he may not be level thinking), Told Hall, he was disgusted and undercover?

*got himself committed to the psych ward, even after knowing his original psychiatrist was not in town, Giving Hall enough time to get rid of evidence?

I think maybe Gigante offered some advice on how to get out of prison.

I've just read articles about this story.
My opinion is based on that and the TV show.

I don't know how accurate the show is but it seems strange that a prisoner giving details that he could have easily gotten from the investigators was enough to kill an appeal and get himself out of prison. Of course he's going to do or say whatever it takes to get himself out so he doesn't seem like a reliable witness, and the prosecution was obviously desperate if they resorted to this in the first place.
