What the fvck is taking Brainiac so long?

So he traveled into the past but he still hasn't made it to Krytpon. Or is waiting somewhere close to the planet because...reasons? Kind of defeats the purpose of time travel doesn't it? You should be able to perfectly time your arrival. Seg's grandfather detected Brainiac when Seg was still a child, that means that Brainiac traveled from Superman's time to Val-El's time and still hasn't attacked the planet.

This show managed to fvckup its own internal logic in less than 2 episodes.

You don't know that, yet. We have seen very little of Braniac or what he was up to. He could have other purposes in the past or his method of travel was less precise than Adam Strange's. Shall we give it some time?

If we're going by Adam Strange's account then yes, we do know. Strange showed up in the past on Krypton with Supermans fading cloak. We know that Brainiac is in the past but not on Krypton. My criticism is that he traveled to the past but hasn't made his move yet.

Brainiac having other purposes/less precise travel methods are weak ponderous arguments.
