Very impressive
....almost as good as the classic Alistair Sim version.
shareThanks for sharing. Would you mind elaborating a bit? I'm really interested to read more about this program.
shareHi RM.
Yes, it was very good. Handsome looking production and very well acted.
To my shame, I've never seen the play (or previous screen adaptations), so was not aware of the "twist". I didn't see it coming! Also, as some have pointed out, the action went beyond the "drawing room". Because I didn't know any different, I found it to flow well. It might upset purists, however.
If there aren't any skeletons in a man's closet, there's probably a Bertha in his attic.

Hi Supergran.
If you haven't seen the 1982 version starring Bernard Hepton as the Inspector I highly recommend it.
I loved this latest adaptation too and was very impressed with it. David Thewlis and Ken Stott are excellent. I had no problem with the flashbacks. I can see why some people would find the earlier adaptations boring though but I personally don't.
Go to bed Frank or this is going to get ugly .
