I thought episodes 1-3 were fantastic. The characters were introduced distinctively, while the storyline unfolded at perfect pace. They were simply riveting! Episodes 4-6 had great moments, but overall contained just a few too many extraneous subplots and characters that distracted and dragged on the plot. They probably could've been edited down to 1 or 2 episodes for more concise and effective storytelling. Once River started investigating the family and the amiable uncle makes his appearance, I think most viewers have figured out who the true killer or killers are. But, the story just grew more repetitious and convoluted at this point as it tried to answer why and how. Too much time was spent on the group sessions and the teasing of inappropriate romances (especially with the psychologist), which also didn't ring true to character or circumstance.
I do agree on the impressive acting and well-crafted dialog!
