Prediction (Possible spoilers???)

I'm about 3/4 of the way through episode 9 and this is what I'm guessing. Someone tell me if I'm right. I don't mind spoilers. I'm thinking Plover and Martin did make it to Fillory and Martin eventually became The Beast (eventually killing Plover). He hated Jane because she left him behind to be abused and that's why he killed her when he got the chance. Am I way off base?

Martin doesn't kill Plover on the show. Jane grows up to be the British woman (I can't remember her name off the top of my head) who is eventually killed by Martin/The Beast. They all go to Fillory to fight/kill the Beast thinking it's Plover. Finale is shocking if you haven't read the books. I refuse to spoil it.
