What exactly happened to Julia (spoiler)
Was Richard evil or was his body ursurped by the "god" they summoned?? And why did her eyes turn green??
shareLooked like the God they summoned stepped into his dead, heartless body and took it over. He muttered something about 'make you like me' during the rape and clearly gave her some power, since she got the same green eye effect that Alice did when she drank Ember's... seed
shareSO was it really just Julia at the end, or was Renard/Renard offspring controlling her? Why would she stand there and let everyone die before killing the beast? She could have just cut his throat when he went after Quentin like Alice was suppose to.
I also thought Alice wasn't dead yet because the beast says something about her bleeding to death, that takes a few minutes. Same with Penny, although much faster losing 2 hands. So Penny can't do magic without hands like the Dean, right?

I think Julia is just suffering from the PTSD of seeing her newfound spiritualist magic friends murdered in front of her, and her being raped, and her need/hunger for revenge tunneling her vision to the point that getting her revenge is more important then team Q living.
Keep in mind that she was a high functioning, high class, privileged girl that was snubbed by her former life-long friend. I know if I found out there was an entire secret world that I was almost permitted to enter and I was capable of becoming a magician and in any way felt cheated out of it by my oldest friend, I'd probably take years to forgive that, if I ever could.
So, given that, she's not on team Q, though she was learning about how in past versions she wasn't the outcast and that it was Jane's fault and not Quentin's, it can be tough to let stuff go in a short span of time.
Then, very shortly after that she is suddenly hit with the real version of what happened when Ember removes Marina's memory patch and based on her small view of the magical world that she's seen, the beast is the one person she knows that has the power and or knowledge to help her get her revenge on Reynard the Trickster.
She's already met Ember and I know I wouldn't think that pathetic loser had anything much to offer, and she knows the beast has killed Umber, a being probably of a similar power level to Reynard.
All she has to sacrifice is a friendship bridge that was already horribly burned and under current repair and some strangers she had just met that probably had something to do with that burnt bridge.
What she did was wrong, but I can totally understand how that character could do that.
