...season premiere. Season 1 ended with such a cliffhanger, and Alice just fixex everything in 2 seconds? The whole thing about 90s tv shows was so weird, I think thry were trying to be funny but it just didn't work. Alice was so cringy with kissing Quentin, they have zero chemistry. And the whole thing with them giving crowns to each other didn't turn out as beautiful as they were probably trying to make it, it was just cheesy and cringy.

I actually really liked season 1 despite not liking somr of the characters, I thought the beast was badass and that cliffhanger was awesome, and Julia's story wasn't bad either. But this premiere was dissapointing. I'll give it another chance with episode 2 because the trailer did look pretty good so maybe it'll get better, but if not, I'll might have to give this show up.

They built everything up to a climax so people would keep watching. Now they have to sustain that for a whole new season.

I liked the '90's trivia, it was cute and subversive to the genre.

Aside from Quentin's, I didn't like the crowns either. I got where they were going but they weren't beautiful enough. I guess they have to be sturdy and they couldn't afford WETA. Still, there are people on etsy who do better work.
