The Beast not the real villian?

Probably. The beast was super disappointing. Like I hope they don't just hop onto a new bad guy now and that there's a bigger picture. After all of season one being scared of the beast and trying to figure out how to kill him, for him to die after four episodes, basically without a fight, and then just leave it at that would be a big let down. I hope there's more of a backstory.

Yeah, the fact that he was killed off so early on (not even in a season finale) DEFINITELY tells me there is more going on here than we all knew. For all we know, Jane Chatwin could really be alive and was playing them all the entire time. It could be Ember. That exchange between him and the beast and him *beep* in the wellspring clearly shows that Ember is not in fact 'afraid' of the beast as we were led to believe. Something deeper and more sinister is definitely going on.

At least for now we know that Reynard the Fox is definitely going to be a big problem.
