Hey, it's way more likely than any of the male heroes trying each other out (would be awesome and about time, but no way will Netflix or Marvel risk the majority of their viewers' wrath by even teasing that), or having a 3-way between Luke, Danny, and whichever female character makes sense at the time (I dunno, that might ruin the bromance between Cage and Iron Fist anyway -- I've only ever read Luke Cage comics, I don't know Danny Rand yet).

We got Jerri Hogarth and her secretary (and her ex-wife, played by the awesome Robin Weigert) on JJ and a very limited run for the Inhuman Joey on AoS, but that's all I can recall for the entirety of the MCU in terms of non-straight characters. After 14 films and 5 series ? Little bit under-represented, IMO.

That aside, thoguh, the less 'shipper material, the less needless romance in these shows, the better. The occasional hook-up is fine (powered people would be fvck!ng each other like crazy, during downtime between the life-or-death threats, if they existed in real life), but I like when the shows are about things other than romance. These are based on comic book soap operas, though, so there'll always be romances and realistically, those are a part of almost every TV series.
