Interesting thing about that horrific defenders trailer.

They did a weird thing cutting up nirvana's "come as you are", but upon a second viewing I listened closer and I discovered that they used two different versions of the song. The vocal sample is from "Unplugged", while the instrumental sample is from "Nevermind".

I'm guessing this was done in an effort to maximize the sense of creepiness they were going for in the trailer. The Nevermind version of the song is in a lower key/timbre with some kind of flanger or chorus effect, while during the unplugged performance of that specific song, Cobain didn't have any guitar effects going, but he did have a key sense of anguish in his voice on that evening.

Just a little something I picked up on viewing the trailer, which sucked, but at least they have good musical taste.

Do tell, what's so bad about this trailer?

It's a teaser that plays with the logos and history of the four heroes of the team, and it patches the team name together from the letters revealed, surrounded by a hand that appears ready to crush it.

From what I know about the show, it teased exactly what the series is going to be without giving anything at all away.

Also, consider your vocabulary more carefully. Genocide is "horrific." Teaser trailers, not really.

If your theater is a space safe from ideas and opinions, you're doing theater wrong.

You may have missed my point.
