Avengers Counterparts

Just for fun, let's see what parallels we can draw between the MCU Avengers and Defenders.

Danny/Thor - A bearded, blonde-haired, pretty boy warrior from a mystic realm who is a fish out of water.

Matt/Tony - An intelligent but self-destructive ladies' man in red armor.

Luke/Cap - A former military man who doesn't like it when people swears undergoes an experiment, gets really strong, is believed dead for a while, and comes back as a symbol of hope.

Jessica/Black Widow - A woman with a traumatic past involving brainwashing and human experiments has a job where she secretly watches people.

Your turn.

I'll do a few more:

Jessica/Tony - Snarky alcoholic suffering from PTSD who can fly, is super strong, and butts head with the martial artist in the mask.

Matt/Steve - Highly moral Christian guy who dons a mask, knows martial arts, and butts head with the snarky alcoholic.

Luke/Hulk - The big gun is a guy with superhuman strength who is nigh impossible to kill and has a penchant for one-sided fights.

Danny/Natasha - Orphans trained since childhood to be badasses.

I think your comparisons are a bit superficial. There really aren't enough characters in the Netflix series to do this properly yet.

I think the best way to do this is by team roles

Danny Rand/Tony Stark - financial backers, rich orphans who inherited an empire

Daredevil/Captain America - they wear their costumes as a symbol. They are both uncorruptable, often to a a degree that frustrates their teammates.

Jessica Jones/Tony Stark - flawed characters who make questionable decisions, but pull for the right side in the end.

The Punisher/black widow - ruthless killers with a questionable past. Neither have superpowers, but use their elite training to compensate.

The Punisher/Hawkeye - elite marksman. Neither have superpowers, but use specialised equipment effectively.

Luke Cage/The Hulk - The muscle of the team

I honestly don't think there is any counterpart to Thor.
