Does this film discuss Kurdt's sexual orientation at all?
He used to say he was bisexual and wished he was gay, but was that a joke to shock conservative, 1980s & 1990s Americans or actually true?

He was somewhat a feminist, he supported gays and was anti-discrimination.
It is known he thought he should be gay when he was a virgin teenager.
That man LOVED Tobi Vail, he had a long and serious relationship with Tracy, and Courtney was very sexual, so she must have been somewhat overwhelming. I feel he was straight but felt related in some way with gays/bi-sexuals.
Even I wanted to be a lesbian when I was a teenager, but you can't force yourself to be gay, neither can someone be forced to be straight.
Please excuse my terrible redaction, english is not my native language IMDb = Catch-22
Kurt was all about being contradictory and raged against the system. He was young and angry, like all in the punk scene. No different than kids these days thinking they're cool by saying they're gay or getting gauges or wearing pot t-shirts.
Kurt liked women, had no gay tendencies but liked messing with the media. He admitted it many times.
Sad all the butt pirates are in here trying to act like he was one too. Nope.
I can go on and on...But I'm kinda drunk and typing is kinda complicating right now,

If Kurt was gay then I'm Jimi Hendrix. He talked a lot about being gay in spirit and sympathizing with the plight of gay people, but I don't think he had any real sexual attraction towards men. It was part compassion, part provocation.
shareHe was confused due to his experience with very smelly vaginas.

In the 1990s there was a strong wave of young women claiming to be "bi" or even lesbian when they were, in many cases, totally hetero -- it was an act of feminism, to assert they didn't need a man for their sexuality.
Silly, but it's what was going on at the time. Very PC.
But most men, gay or bi, were still claiming to be straight as they still do for the most part. So it ws different.
Where did Kurt, a dude, fit into that?

I remember a quote from Courtney Love back when Kurt was still alive. She said Kurt wanted so much to be gay but he was "straight as an arrow."
